Atty. Corazon Fabros (Philippines) is lawyer by profession and has been with the anti-bases, anti-nuclear and peace movement for more than 30 years. She is a founding member of the National Union of Peoples’ Lawyers and the Counsels for the Defense of Liberties in the Philippines.Currently with the Coordinating Committee of the International Network for the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases (No Bases Network) and lead convenor STOP the War! Coalition Philippines, a multi-sectoral coalition of Philippine-based social movements who are in solidarity with the movement for peace and social justice.
Co-Convenor of the Citizens Peace Watch, a network that monitors, documents and exposes the activities of the US and other foreign military presence and intervention in the Philippines and mounts lobby, mobilizations and media work to push for the strict implementation of the Philippine Constitution prohibition of foreign military troops and facilities in the Philippines
Currently a Coordinating Team member, Network Opposed to Bataan Nuclear Power Plant (NOtoBNPP) – National coalition of organizations opposing the operation of the one and only, graft ridden and defective nuclear power plant in the Philippines.

Over the past 10 years, has served as Co-Chairperson of the International Symposium of the World Conference Against A & H Bombs in Hiroshima and helped to organize the Inaugural Conference of the International Network for the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases in Quito and Manta, Ecuador in 2006.
Has worked with Focus on the Global South since 1999 in helping to build the “NO US Bases” Network, and has worked closely with anti-bases activists and scholars in Asia (particularly Japan and Okinawa) and the Pacific, in the United States and globally.
Has represented the Philippine anti-nuclear and anti-bases movement (as speaker, presenter, chairperson, moderator) in various conferences, forums, meetings, lectures and events and has spoken to and worked with countless community-based peace and justice movements in the Philippines and in other parts of the world.
Former Secretary General of the Nuclear Free Philippines Coalition, which led the successful campaign to stop the nuclear power plant projects in the Philippines and was the campaign center for the rejection and removal of US military bases in the Philippines
